Preston midfielder Lewis Neal has agreed a deal which will keep him at North End for a further 12 months.

The 26-year-old, who joined Preston in August 2005, could have left the club under the Bosman ruling in the summer.

With similar deals already agreed with Joe Anyinsah and Callum Davidson, North End have every member of their squad under contract.

"Lewis is a good player," manager Alan Irvine told the club's website. "So it wasn't a difficult decision."
