Preston North End boss Paul Simpson says the return of Youl Mawene for the new season will be a huge boost. The French centre-half tore cruciate and medial knee ligaments last July and missed the entire season but is fit again after nearly 12 months out.
Simpson told the club website: "Youl is going to be a good signing for me.
"It wasn't just his performances that impressed me, but the way he trained amd the way he is a professional - he seems like a really strong character."
