 Brett Ormerod wanted to move back to the north west |
Preston have signed Southampton striker Brett Ormerod on a free transfer. The former Blackpool striker has been looking for a move back to the north west and has signed at three-and-a-half year deal at Deepdale.
Saints spent �1.75m to take the 29-year-old from Bloomfield Road in 2001 but he was unable to make his mark at St Mary's.
He is set to make his North End debut against Crystal Palace in a Championship game on Tuesday.
