Rotherham have agreed to let midfielder Chris Sedgwick join Championship rivals Preston for a fee of about �300,000. The 24-year-old has long been linked with Preston and Millers manager Ronnie Moore confirmed on Saturday that Sedgwick was to have talks with them.
Sedgwick will be unveiled as a Preston player in the next few days as long as paperwork and formalities go to plan.
He joined Rotherham at the age of 14 after he was signed on schoolboy terms by John Breckin.
