Preston North End have announced a boardroom reshuffle. Accountant Paul Newsham and solicitor Anthony Hughes have joined the board, while existing director Steve Jackson has been promoted to chief executive.
Hughes told BBC Radio Lancashire: "This isn't about putting money in, it's about two people who are astute in business and finance."
Meanwhile, chairman Derek Shaw has revealed the club will lose 50% of any profit they make on Ricardo Fuller.
The Jamaican striker has had a transfer request accepted by the board.
Shaw told BBC Radio Lancashire: "One of our problems is a huge sell-on clause, whereby half the money goes to his previous club, Tivoli Gardens.
"They've protected themselves, as we would have done, but it makes it very difficult because you're only getting 50 pence in the pound."
