Lawrence will be away with Ireland for the European Championship qualifiers

Portsmouth's on-loan midfielder Liam Lawrence has said he thinks his new club can continue their recent revival and even finish in the play-offs.

After failing to win in their first seven Championship games of the season, Pompey are now three matches unbeaten.

Lawrence has been influential with three goals in the last three games.

The deadline day signing from Stoke told BBC Radio Solent: "I think if we cut out the silly little mistakes we've a good chance of the play-offs."
