The player has been in good form during Pompey's three pre-season friendlies and is available on a free transfer after refusing to sign a new deal for Reading. Pulis is keen to snap up the defender in favour of other target Andy Myers - who would cost �500,000. "He has trained well, and his attitude has been terrific.
