Storrie is leading the search for new owners of Pompey

Portsmouth executive chairman Peter Storrie says he remains hopeful over current talks with a potential new owner of the Premier League outfit.

Pompey owner Sacha Gaydamak put the club up for sale last year, launching the search for potential investors.

Storrie told BBC Radio Solent: "I'm very hopeful that this group might just move the next step forward.

"These developments would need to be in the short-term future, because there are big decisions to be made here."

You can hear the full interview with Peter Storrie during BBC Radio Solent's coverage of Portsmouth's final game of the season at Wigan, from 1530 BST on Sunday.
