Mullins backs Pompey survival bid

Portsmouth midfielder Hayden Mullins is confident that the club will stay in the Premier League with 10 matches of the season still to go.

After just one win in 13 league games, only goal difference is keeping Pompey out of the relegation zone heading into Saturday's visit of in-form Everton.

But Mullins told BBC Radio Solent: "Portsmouth have definitely got the quality to beat the drop.

"It's about not getting complacent and having a little bit of luck."

Mullins, who turns 30 next week, has now played seven games for Pompey since signing from West Ham United on a three-year deal in January.

But, since Paul Hart and Brian Kidd took over as their management team following the sacking of Tony Adams on 9 February, Pompey have lost just once in their last four games.
