Pompey unfazed by off-field talk

Portsmouth

Portsmouth midfielder Armand Traore insists any off-field issues will not affect them at Spurs on Sunday.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp faces his old club for the first time since his exit in October, as does Jermaine Defoe.

And there were arrests for indecent chanting at Sol Campbell following the fixture at Fratton Park in September.

But Traore told BBC Radio Solent: "All we have to do is focus and be good on the pitch. It's what good footballers do. It won't affect me."

Both clubs have issued statements requesting fans of both clubs to relent in the use of unacceptable abuse.

Pompey go into the match on the back of four straight Premier League defeats. But Redknapp's new side have not been faring a great deal better, having picked up just one point out of a possible 12.
