Collins has been a regular in the Vale team this season

Port Vale defender Lee Collins has said he would be happy to extend his loan-spell with the club.

The 20-year-old is set to return to Wolves at the end of December.

But Collins told BBC Radio Stoke: "I'm pretty sure if they're comfortable they would like me to stay here, there is nothing like playing first-team games."

Since taking over as manager, Dean Glover has switched Collins from left-back into the centre of defence, his preferred position.
