Port Vale have signed versatile defender Lee Collins from Wolverhampton Wanderers on a six-month loan.

Collins becomes manager Lee Sinnott's eighth signing of the summer as he looks to build a squad that can return to League One at the first attempt.

The 19-year-old spent much of last season on loan at Hereford United, making 20 first-team appearances.

He is expected to make his debut for the Valiants in Saturday's friendly with Walsall.
