Justin Miller has left Port Vale after reaching an agreement with the club on the remaining year of his contract.

The 27-year-old South African defender was signed on a free transfer from Leyton Orient last summer.

He has fallen out of favour since Lee Sinnott took over as manager, and made only five starts under the Vale boss.

The deal leaves him available to sign for a new club in the summer, and will free up some funds for Sinnott to rebuild his squad in the close-season.
