Port Vale boss Martin Foyle has released seven players to make room for new summer signings. George Abbey, Nathan Lowndes, Michael Husbands, Rhys Weston, Christian Smith, Ross Gardner and Mark Soboljew have not been offered new deals.
Danny Sonner, Jason Talbot, Robin Hulbert and Joe Cardle have been offered 12-month contracts.
Danny Glover, 17, has been offered a two-year contract, Luke Prosser and Charlie O'Loughlin six-month deals.
