Port Vale goalkeeper Joe Anyon has signed a new two-year deal which will keep him at the club until June 2009. Anyon, 20, had been linked with a move away from the League One side after establishing himself in the first-team.
Boss Martin Foyle told Vale's website: "This is great news for us because Joe is a winner and a great talent.
"He's caught the eye of a lot of people in the game and he has a good future - he has the right attitude and mentality to play at the highest level."
