 Rodgers joined Crewe for �90,000 last summer |
Port Vale have won the chase for Crewe striker Luke Rodgers. The 25-year-old moves to Vale Park for a �30,000 fee after agreeing a two-and-a-half-year deal.
"We needed fresh blood up front," boss Martin Foyle told his club's website. "He is small, aggressive and mobile and what we have been looking for."
Rodgers, who was also a target for Leyton Orient and Accrington, scored nine goals in 18 league starts for Crewe after a joining from Shrewsbury.
