Port Vale have signed Yeovil defender Colin Miles and Macclesfield midfielder Danny Whitaker on free transfers. Miles, 27, and Whitaker, 25, have both signed two-year deals at Vale Park.
"I've been at Yeovil a long time and enjoyed my time there, but I feel Vale are going places or I wouldn't have signed," Miles told Vale's website.
Whitaker added: "I needed to step up a division. I had been at Macclesfield for five years, and you get to the stage where you need a change."
Whitaker moves in the opposite direction to goalkeeper Jonny Brain, who left Vale Park to rejoin ex-Vale boss Brian Horton at Macclesfield earlier this month.
