| Port Vale chairman Bill Bratt believes midfielder Chris Birchall has no desire to leave the club this summer. The 22-year-old Trinidad & Tobago international has just 12 months left on his current contract. "As far as we're concerned he is a Port Vale player and we haven't thought about a value for him," said Bratt. "He doesn't really want to leave but these things have a habit of changing. I could see that if a big club came in for him then he would want to go."
