Ignore Argyle financial problems - Reid

Plymouth Argyle manager Peter Reid has called on everyone to stick together at the troubled League One club.

Argyle currently face a winding-up petition from HM Revenue & Customs and staff have not been paid in November.

But Reid told BBC Spotlight: "We need to stick together, fight together and get out of this situation, and the only way we can do it is winning games.

"It's disappointing but we've got to get through it. There's no use moaning. There's worse things."

Reid continued: "We've got to stay bright. The staff have been terrific and the players have, and the only thing we can affect it from a football point of view is to try and win matches."

Reid admitted that, like the rest of the staff, he is also waiting to be paid.

"I haven't," he added. "It's just one of those things and we've got to get over it.

"There are people losing their jobs all over the country. It's tight out there."

Plymouth are also struggling on the pitch, sitting just three points above the relegation places in League One.
