Reid took over as manager of Plymouth Argyle in June
Plymouth Argyle boss Peter Reid has expressed his frustration at the lack of consistency demonstrated by his side this season.
After beating Sheffield Wednesday 3-2 on Saturday, Plymouth lost 2-0 to Brighton on Tuesday, their third defeat of the current campaign.
Reid told BBC Radio Devon: "That inconsistency was there to see again against Brighton.
"Good teams are consistent, and we're not consistent at the moment."
Having been relegated from the Championship last term, the Pilgrims have struggled to impose themselves on League One.
The Devon side are currently 16th in the standings, with a mere eight points from their opening seven games, and only two wins.
Reid said: "We got a great result at Southampton on the opening day and then we didn't carry it on, and we've done the same this evening [Tuesday] against Brighton."
Plymouth will be aiming to amend their form when they return to action against Rochdale at Spotland on Saturday.
