Plymouth striker Joe Mason has pulled out of the Republic of Ireland's Under-19 squad with food poisoning.
The 18-year-old had been selected to join his countrymen for the European Championship qualifiers in Ukraine.
The Irish squad will play matches against England, Bosnia and Ukraine at the end of May.
Mason, who made 20 appearances for Argyle this season, was born in Plymouth but qualifies for Ireland through his mother.
The young striker scored three goals for the Pilgrims this term.
The Republic of Ireland begin their qualifying campaign against England on 26 May, before playing Ukraine two days later and then Bosnia on 31 May.
