Argyle striker facing suspension

Ashley Barnes
Barnes has played one Championship game this season

Plymouth Argyle striker Ashley Barnes could face a three-match ban after he was shown a straight red card during a reserve game.

The 19-year-old was sent off during Tuesday's reserves clash with local rivals Exeter City.

Barnes, who has made two first-team appearances this season appeared to lash out at City's Richard Duffy.

The game finished 1-1, after Exeter's Richard Logan cancelled out Alan Gow's Argyle opener.
