Plymouth Argyle striker Rory Fallon has been called up to the New Zealand squad ahead of the country's crucial World Cup play-off matches later this year.
New Zealand will need to beat either Bahrain or Saudi Arabia over two legs to secure a place at the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa.
It is the first time the 27-year-old has been selected for his country.
The Plymouth forward will also link up with the squad for a friendly against Jordan in September.
New Zealand came top of the Oceania qualifying group ahead of New Caledonia, Fiji and Vanuatu. They will head to either Bahrain or Saudi Arabia on October 10 with the return leg in Wellington on November 14.
