Plymouth Argyle boss Paul Sturrock says his side could have played better in their 1-0 win at Sheffield Wednesday.
Out-of-favour striker Steve MacLean got the only goal after 23 minutes to seal Tuesday's win at Hillsborough.
"We didn't pass the ball like we've been doing away from home lately and that caused us a lot of problems, but we defended stoutly," he said.
"Better teams than us have come here and lost since the start of the season," Sturrock added on BBC Devon.
