Plymouth have signed Aberdeen midfielder Chris Clark for 200,000. The 27-year-old who turned down a new contract with the Dons, has agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal with Argyle.
Boss Paul Sturrock said: "Chris can play in four or five positions so it's a great benefit to us that he comes with that great pedigree.
"He's played in the Scottish Premier League since he was 18, he's very experienced, quick, two-footed and is desperate to achieve something."
Clark will go stright into the Pilgrims squad for their Coca-Cola Championship game against Southampton at the weekend.
The Scot has also played as a full back and a winger, and leaves the Dons after a stay of seven years at Pittodrie.
Clark - who made 236 appearances, scoring 10 goals for Aberdeen - broke into the Scotland B side in 2006/07, and has won two caps so far.
