Plymouth's plans to bring Livingston central defender James McPake to Home Park on trial have been called off. McPake was set to join Argyle on Monday for a week. Plymouth's interest in McPake has been reported in the Scottish media but Argyle boss Ian Holloway has not given up on signing the 22-year-old. Holloway told the club website: "They've changed their minds. I will have to watch him again instead of having him down here."
