Leicester City boss Craig Levein has completed the signing of Plymouth left-back Peter Gilbert. Gilbert, 21, signed a three-year deal at the Walkers Stadium on Monday, with the fee thought to be about �200,000.
The Wales Under-21 international is likely to play in Wednesday's friendly at Rushden & Diamonds.
"The good news is we only need one more player - a striker. We need to get the defence sorted as quickly as possible," Levein told BBC Radio Leicester.
"We need to get the defence sorted out as quickly as possible and Peter will be added to the back four that we'll work with.
"At this point of pre-season, I'm happy with having only one player to recruit. If you'd said this to me a month ago, I'd have bitten your hand off."
Gilbert has been a summer target for Leicester, and Plymouth had already rejected one offer from the midlands club.
