Nigerian international striker Benedict Akwuegbu has had trials with Plymouth. The 31-year-old, who played for Nigeria against England in the 2002 World Cup, is currently with Austrian club Wacker Tirol, but is keen to play in England.
"He was just one of a number of trialists we have been looking at," Argyle coach David Kemp told the Plymouth Evening Herald.
And Akwuegbu said: "Playing in England has always been my dream. It would just be amazing to sign a deal there."
