Boyd has made 22 starts for Posh so far this season
Peterborough United winger George Boyd says he has no regrets over signing a new three-year deal during the summer.
Boyd, 24, came close to leaving the club after spending time on loan with Nottingham Forest last season, but was persuaded to stay by boss Gary Johnson.
Boyd told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "I'm not interested in leaving, just getting promoted with Peterborough.
"We want to be back in the Championship and I'm certain that's where we'll be come the end of the season."
Posh started the season strongly, but have slipped out of the League One play-off places in recent weeks.
Scotland B international Boyd says it is vital that they hold onto all of their star players during the January transfer window.
"We need our best players to hit form over Christmas and if we can put a run together then we'll hit the top two within the next few games," the former Stevenage player said.
"If we can hold onto our top players in January then we'll have an great chance of getting promoted."
