Peterborough United defender Shane Blackett is facing a spell on the sidelines after he dislocated his shoulder in training on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old centre-back could be out of action for as long as 12 weeks.

Blackett was taken to hospital following the incident and an X-ray confirmed the extent of the injury.

The news comes as a real setback for Posh after striker Aaron Mclean dislocated his elbow at the weekend and faces six weeks out of action.
