Peterborough chairman Darragh Macanthony has issued a warning to the club's transfer-listed players who are still under contract. Posh have told Trevor Benjamin, Danny Crow, Richard Butcher, Guy Branston and Ben Futcher that they do not figure in boss Darren Ferguson's plans.
Macanthony told the Evening Telegraph.: "We need to shed some players, but won't be held to ransom over pay-offs.
"They can easily find clubs, who'd want to stagnate in the stands?"
