Peterborough manager Keith Alexander felt his side only had themselves to blame for their defeat by Darlington. Posh lost 3-1 after leading 1-0 and Alexander said: "Some of our early play was very good but in the second half we gave away a couple of sloppy goals.
"We could have gone in at the break a couple of goals to the good but we failed to take our chances.
"I am happy with the way the squad is shaping up but I was disappointed to lose Guy Branston with an injury."
