Peterborough United have halted their bid for York City striker Clayton Donaldson at 100,000. Peterborough's director of football Barry Fry told the York Press: "From my point of view, I know he's out of contract at the end of the season.
"I have offered more than a fair price of 100,000. I won't be increasing it."
York do not want to sell Donaldson, who has scored 18 goals this season, but the 22-year-old is out of contract in the summer and has rejected a new deal.
