Peterborough keeper Mark Tyler has signed a new two-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2007. Tyler, who was due to be out of contract in the summer, is due a testimonial at the end of next season.
"I am absolutely delighted," boss Barry Fry told the club's website. "If we had left it until the summer, Mark could have signed for one of a host of clubs.
"It is a massive boost for the football club and shows the tremendous loyalty that Mark has for Peterborough United."
