Williams has joined Peterborough for the rest of the season |
Peterborough have re-signed Birmingham City defender Tom Williams following a successful three-month loan spell. The 23-year-old left Posh for City in a 350,000 move in March 2002 but made just four appearances for the Blues.
"Tom has agreed to come here until the end of the season to try and help us avoid relegation," Peterborough boss Barry Fry said.
"We'll try to reach an agreement about a longer deal at the end of the season but Tom has other irons in the fire.
"To get a player of Tom's calibre is a real coup for the club."
Williams made 44 appearances in his first spell at London Road after joining from West Ham in March 2001.
