Donnelly brings vast experience to the Firhill dressing room

Former Scotland and Celtic midfielder Simon Donnelly has signed a new one-year deal with Partick Thistle.

His midfield colleague Gary Harkins has also signed a two-year contract with the First Division side.

Thistle manager Ian McCall plans to release midfielder Stevie Murray and strikers Paul Keegan and Vitezslav Mooc at the end of the season.

"I would include Simon among the best professionals that I have worked with," McCall told the club website.
