Partick Thistle manager Ian McCall was left to rue a number of missed opportunities as Rangers dumped his team out of the Scottish Cup.
"I counted six or seven good chances we had to score," he told BBC Sport after the 2-0 replay defeat at Firhill.
"But when we missed the penalty, you begin to think 'maybe this is not going to be our day'.
"I'm proud of the players because they passed the ball as best they could on a terrible pitch."
Former Celtic midfielder Simon Donnelly missed a second half penalty after Nacho Novo and Chris Burke had given the visitors a half time lead.

The same player hit the crossbar with the goal at his mercy, while Marc Twaddle failed to find an unguarded net from 20 yards early in the game.
"On the day, Rangers put the ball in the net and we didn't," added McCall. "You need a bit of luck and we didn't have it."
