Oxford United say they are "encouraged" to have have sold more than 1500 season tickets for the new campaign.

They are available at a reduced rate until 4 July - the day the fixtures for the new Blue Square Premier season are expected to be announced.

It puts them about halfway towards matching the impressive totals of their previous two campaigns at that level.

With the club still chasing their first new signing of the summer, the existing squad has returned to training.

Transfer-listed full-back Alex Jeannin and midfielder Eddie Hutchinson were told to train separately from other senior players.
