Influential Oxford United midfielder Adam Murray has signed a new two-year contract at the Kassam Stadium.

The 26-year-old started 21 games after joining from Macclesfield in January and was wanted by several league clubs.

Oxford manager Darren Patterson told the club website: "This is a massive signing for Oxford United.

"We have worked very hard to agree a new deal, and because Adam enjoyed himself here, he was delighted to commit to us."
