Oxford United transfer target Matt Green says wants to sort out his future by the end of the week.

Speaking to BBC Oxford, the Cardiff forward has admitted that he has been talking with several clubs, including one in the Football League.

"My family and friends and everyone who knows anything about me are telling me to go with Oxford.

"I'm coming towards that fact as well. In the next week or so maybe we can get something sorted officially."

Green impressed in a second loan spell at the Kassam Stadium and said an agreement in principle over terms has been made. He added nothing had yet been signed.

"We've negotiated and got exactly what's best for the both of us. We have a great team down there, that's a strong point Oxford have got. I have been there and done well.

"I've pretty much agreed a deal with them, but haven't signed anything officially. I've got to talk to couple of other clubs before I jump into anything."
