The 29-year-old defender has impressed in his four appearances for the U's, scoring in the 3-0 win against Histon in early February.

"I've really enjoyed my time at the club and I'm pleased to stay for longer," Howard told the club website.

"I'm looking forward to building on the hard work we have put in over the last few weeks."
