Duffy has fallen out of favour at Oxford United. |
Oxford United boss Darren Patterson says he will use the wage freed up by Rob Duffy's loan move to Wrexham to bring in a new striker. Duffy joined the League Two strugglers on a one-month deal earlier this week.
Patterson told BBC Radio Oxford: "I'm pleased for Rob. It's a fresh opportunity for him which he needs to take."
Duffy has netted 24 goals from 47 conference appearances for Oxford, but has struggled with form this season.
