Oxford United co-owner Ian Lenagan has restated his desire to BBC Radio Oxford to see the club return to the Football League and to own their own stadium. Lenagan also revealed there are funds available for manager Darren Patterson to spend on transfer fees.
And Lenagan, who bought a controlling stake in rugby league side Wigan last year, has reaffirmed his commitment.
He said: "We love Oxford United. We hope to be around for many years to come but you can never guarantee that."
