Oxford United have strengthened their squad by bringing in Cardiff midfielder Gregg Coombes on a month's loan. Coombes, 18, has represented Wales at every level up to Under-19 and prefers the central midfield berth, but is able to play wide right or as a wing-back.
Despite not having yet made his Cardiff first-team debut, the Porth-born player is highly rated at Ninian Park.
Coombes trained with the Us on Saturday to prepare for Monday's televised home game against Rushden and Diamonds.
