Caretaker Martin Gray to apply for Oldham boss vacancy
Oldham's caretaker boss Martin Gray has applied for the vacant manager's post following Dave Penney's departure.
Gray had been Penney's assistant at both Oldham and previously Darlington.
He also took charge of the side for their final League One game of the season on Saturday, which saw the Latics go down 2-0 to Charlton.
Penney left Boundary Park last week after just a year in charge following a poor season which saw Oldham finish two points clear of the relegation zone.
