Oldham boss John Sheridan has handed a new contract to defender Neal Trotman which runs until the end of the season. The 19-year-old joined the Latics on trial towards the end of last season after he was released by Burnley.
Trotman then earned a three-month contract in the summer which was due to end on 1 October.
However, Sheridan has been impressed by a number of impressive performances for the reserves and he has recently been included in the first-team squad.
