| Oldham have revealed that Simon Blitz, one of their three co-owners, has replaced Barry Chaytow as chairman. The move comes because Chaytow is currently putting together a bid to buy the League One club, and wishes to avoid a conflict of interest. "I will resign as chairman and a director, but I would hope it to be only a temporary state of affairs," Chaytow announced in a statement. "If the deal goes through, then I will be back very soon."
