Oldham have secured the services of on-loan Birmingham City midfielder Neil Kilkenny for the rest of the season. Kilkenny, 19, joined the Latics in November and has since scored five times in eight starts.
He told Oldham's website: "I think we've got a chance of making the play-offs. It's the number-one priority."
Oldham boss Brian Talbot is also in talks with on-loan Spurs midfielder Mark Hughes about extending his stay at Boundary Park.
