Oldham have completed the signing of winger Kevin Betsy from Barnsley. The 26-year-old has moved to Boundary Park until the end of the season, after his Tykes contract was terminated by mutual consent.
The Woking-born player was also reported to have attracted interest from Hartlepool, where he recently spent a month on loan, and Port Vale.
Betsy made 100 first-team appearances for Barnsley after signing from Fulham for �200,000 in March 2002.
Meanwhile, Oldham have offered to pay up defender Michael Clegg's contract, after he was told he no longer figures in manager Brian Talbot's plans.
