Notts County are still on the hunt for a new striker, according to assistant manager Dave Kevan.
The Magpies have made no secret of their desire to sign a forward, but they were unable to bring anyone in during the January transfer period.
"We continually try to look for players who will make us better," Kevan told BBC Radio Nottingham, as the loan window once again opened this week.
"Whether that happens this week, we'll have to wait and see."
Notts have failed to score in their last two matches, and while Kevan knows it is a problem that he and manager Ian McParland do need to address, he admits the situation is not always in the club's hands.
"We'll try and strengthen again towards the end of the season, but whether we're successful, that remains to be seen," he said.
